Outreach Coordinator

The DSAGC would like to expand our outreach efforts beyond just health outreach to also include efforts with schools and educators as well as with potential employers of Self-Advocates.  The person in this role needs to be at ease with public speaking, networking, recruiting and empowering a wide array of high-level volunteers.  This person must also be comfortable wearing a few different hats within the DSAGC in terms of their outreach responsibilities.  Desired qualifications include being proficient with the full range of Microsoft Office applications, as well as feeling comfortable juggling a varied schedule in and out of the office.  We envision this position averaging about 30 hours/week.  To see a full job description, please click here

Programming Assistant

We have three Program Coordinators on our DSAGC staff team.  They have to balance their programming responsibilities while also providing care, support, empathy and wisdom on a case-by-case basis to our families in need.  We are creating this position to provide support to these coordinators.  The person in this position needs to be an exceptional team player as they will provide shared support to three different staff people (in addition to interacting with the rest of the staff team).  The demands of this position will also require an exceptionally detailed individual who is capable of handling multiple tasks throughout the day.  We envision this position averaging about 30 hours/week.  Desired qualifications include event planning and database experience, as well as being proficient with the full range of Microsoft Office applications.  Having some capability with Publisher would be an added bonus.  To see a full job description, please click here

Adult Matters Engagement Coordinator

Our Adult Matters program desires are complicated as the needs of our adult population of individuals with Down syndrome are complex, diverse and ever-changing.  Instead of having just one person fulfilling the role as our Adult Matters Coordinator, we are instead approaching, with a job sharing / team collaboration paradigm.  We are calling this job description an Adult Matters Engagement Coordinator.  This person needs to feel extremely comfortable interacting with adults with Down syndrome.  This person must have strong event planning skills, be detail oriented, possess the skills needed to utilize volunteers in a positive way and be a good team player.  Desired qualifications include being proficient with the full range of Microsoft Office applications as well as feeling comfortable juggling a varied schedule.  We envision this position averaging about 12 hours/week.  To see a full job description, please click here
