The Down Syndrome
Association of Greater Cincinnati (DSAGC) partners
with families and others to create an environment in
which individuals with Down syndrome are welcomed with
fairness, enthusiasm, and encouragement in the community.
Inclusion is a goal embraced by all.
By working in partnership
with the larger community, the DSAGC is responsive
in meeting the changing needs of individuals of all
ages and abilities with Down syndrome and their families.
The DSAGC joins and collaborates with the community
to create the most progressive and family friendly
services for persons with Down syndrome of all ages.
The DSAGC celebrates the birth
of a baby with families and offers support, information,
and resources on Down syndrome. Families have high
expectations for their children and teach them to be
their own advocates. The DSAGC and the community ensure
that individuals with Down syndrome are given support
and information to empower them to live, work, and
play in the community.
The DSAGC is known, and its
presence is valued within the community. We are financially
strong. The DSAGC uses its name recognition and resources
to support new and existing initiatives that help achieve
our vision.
The DSAGC is a model of excellence
for other communities. The DSAGC resources are current,
and services are responsive and easily accessible by
all. The DSAGC informs, influences, and inspires families
to pursue their dreams for their children.
