Babysitting Information For This Event:
We know many people have a hard time finding child care so we have coordinated this night with an Arms Wide Open Respite Night at the Mason Community Center. Amy Iten has taken Nathan to one of the respite nights in the winter and he had a ball! They played in the gym, ate pizza, watched a movie...AND it's COMPLETELY FREE to registered families.
• Arms Wide Open (AWO) is a ministry designed for individuals with special needs from Christ Church in Mason (CCM)
• CCM Volunteers are trained to help each individual do their very best, while maintaining an environment that is safe and happy. We work with the Mason Community Center to provide such care on some of our Respite Nights. All volunteers have had background checks.
Respite is a part of the AWO ministry at CCM. Several nights a year we provide free respite services to local families who have loved one(s) with special needs. It is a night for everyone to get refueled!
Guardians: register by announced deadline, and drop off/pick up all children at CCM at specified times of event.
Volunteers: serve as room leaders, buddies, or prepare food for the event.
Children: come the night of event ready to have fun!
We welcome all individuals regardless of age or medical diagnosis and their siblings. Volunteers also vary in age, experience, personality . . . almost everything except our love for Christ!
Time is always 6:30 - 9:00 pm.
