Lending Library

One of the largest strengths of our organization can be found in our Lending Library. This unique collection contains comprehensive information on topics such as teaching strategies, medical concerns, social development, parenting and much more. A children’s section is also available which currently contains over 80 titles. Our collection is accessed daily by families, teachers and healthcare professionals. Books, videos, and DVD’s can be shipped or picked up in our office. New materials are continually being sought in order to provide the most current and accurate information available. Amazon.com Associates

The DSAGC is pleased to announce that any book purchased through the Amazon link in our Lending Library will result in a donation to our organization. All you have to do is locate the title you are interested in, click on the Amazon icon and purchase the book. It will be directly mailed to you by Amazon. The DSAGC will then receive 4% of the purchase price from Amazon. That is all you need to do. If you need any assistance please contact Sally.

Lending Library Funding

A generous grant from the Charles H. Dater Foundation for 2006 has enabled us to make our Lending Library available on our website, purchase new books and additional copies of highly requested books. It has enabled us to improve our library system.

Lending Library Policies

The DSAGC Lending Library is a free service. Because of the high volume of requests for these materials, the lending period is 3 weeks from the day the materials are mailed or picked up. In order to maintain a variety of titles in each category, we ask that you limit your selections to 3 resources per lending period. When requesting materials online, you will automatically receive a reminder email a few days before the materials are due. All materials should be mailed in appropriate envelopes (padded envelopes suggested for DVD’s and VHS tapes) with your return address. Borrowers Responsibility

Borrowers assume responsibility for all materials borrowed from the DSAGC Lending Library. Materials that are lost, stolen or destroyed are the borrowers responsibility to pay for replacement.
