The D.S. Press shares current information on a variety of topics relating to Down syndrome. These topics include medical, educational, and a "page for every age". The newsletter also publicizes the meetings and events sponsored by the DSAGC. The DS Press is published 6 times per year and currently reaches over 3,000 individuals including parents, professionals and individuals with Down syndrome. Download the latest online issue. Coming online soon will be a variety of easy to read Fact Sheets focused on specific topics. These will be available as pdfs on the website.
One of the largest strengths of our organization can be found in our Lending Library. This unique collection contains comprehensive information on topics such as teaching strategies, medical concerns, social development, parenting and much more. Our collection is accessed daily by families, teachers and healthcare professionals. Books, videos, and DVD's can be shipped or picked up in our office. The DSAGC is getting involved with publishing media online. Beginning with the New and Expectant Parent Video, the DSAGC continues to explore new ways to communicate, advocate, and support our families.
The DSAGC compiles relevant resources into packets focused on specific audiences and topics. Packets are available upon request. View a list of availble packets and place a request to receive the materials.
