ADULT MATTERS PROGRAM

This program is especially designed for adults with Down syndrome, those in school transitioning to adult life and their families. Adult Matters is focused on enhancing the lives of adults with Down syndrome by offering a variety of social and educational events that connect the adult to their community. Information and referrals pertaining to the specific needs of adults are provided upon request. Besides the ongoing social and educational events, current programs include Down Syndrome & Alzheimer’s Support Group, monthly calendar mailing, Speaker’s Bureau, DSAGC “Boosters” and self-advocate training.
