SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAM

The purpose of this program is to continue the sequence of meetings that were initiated at birth with the Early Matters Program. Our goal is to address concerns of the needs of school age children and their families through a variety of approaches. The primary goal is to provide family members with current information on topics pertinent to the needs of school age children and their parents. This is accomplished by conducting educational programs related to the growth and development led by local experts. These meetings are held at varying times and locations throughout Greater Cincinnati. Often times the DSAGC will work in collaboration with other organizations that are offering programs that may be of interest to our families. Topics such as making social connections, understanding Medicaid waivers, and sibling support are examples of topics covered by this program. The information that parents obtain at these meetings will assist them in making sound choices for their family. Contact Sally for more information.
