Early Matters Social Connections

New Parent Dinners - The DSAGC offers offers new parents, children, siblings and mentors a great opportunity to join together for a meal and the opportunity to meet other families and DSAGC staff.

Playgroups - Located throughout our geographic area and led by volunteers, playgroups offer new families a chance to connect with those it their neighborhood:

  • West Side Playgroup - A new group for parents and their children ages birth to 5 years.
  • East Side Playgroup - Moms and their babies’ ages birth to 5 years meet on the second Saturday of each month from 10 am to 1 pm.
  • Butler County Playgroup - This group meets monthly on Saturday morning at 10:30 am.
  • Kentucky Playgroup - This group for parents who have children ages 4 and under.

Brown County Satellite Group - This group was formed for families living in Brown, Highland, Clinton or Adams counties. They offer social events, speakers, networking, parent support and more. Contact Shayna Hansel at 1.877.389.3347 for more information.

KIDS (Kentuckians Interested in Down Syndrome) - KIDS meets on the second Monday of each month at 7 pm at Redwood School in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Speakers address topics of interest to parents of children of all ages. Contact Roben Dixon at dixonfam@fuse.net for more information.

Dads Satellite - Dads of children of all ages and from all counties are welcome Meets 2nd Tuesday of each month
