From time to time, the DSAGC looks for talented individuals who have both a passion for our mission as well as the right combination of character, competencies and chemistry with the staff to round out our team. If we have any current openings, we will list them on our website. If you don’t see any current jobs listed, please feel free to check back later to see if our needs have changed.
National Down Syndrome Adoption Network (NDSAN) Outreach Coordinator
Since its inception, the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network has been a program of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati (DSAGC). Even though, the NDSAN has great programming freedom, the DSAGC provides significant logistical, supervisory and financial support to the NDSAN. We couldn’t do what we do to serve birth parents and adoptive families without them! In order to keep the overhead down for the NDSAN, our finances are completely run through the DSAGC.
For the NDSAN (www.ndsan.org) to be able to increase its impact, there is a need to expand its outreach efforts. Currently, the NDSAN Director doesn’t have the capacity to put much time or effort into these areas; therefore, we are going to hire a part-time Outreach Coordinator to take on some outreach projects. The person in this role needs to be passionate about the mission of the NDSAN, have strong administrative skills and be very comfortable with social media. Being able to take direction and work collaboratively with the NDSAN Director will be a high value for whomever takes on this position. This is a flexible, work-at-home role and we envision this position averaging between 8 – 12 hours/week. Our preference is to find someone who lives in the Greater Cincinnati area to fill this position.
If you are interested in the NDSAN Outreach Coordinator position, please email a cover letter stating why you feel like you would be a good fit for the position as well as why you are passionate about our mission. Please send your cover letter and resume to Amie Lefebvre at firstname.lastname@example.org.
