Overarching Directional Priorities

Core Values – Incorporate a new vision statement and core values that along with our mission statement, will provide direction for what we do, why we do it, and how we do it.

Measuring our Impact – Develop and implement a process to measure and examine our programs and other activities for desired impact.

High-Level Volunteers – Foster and create opportunities for volunteers to be engaged with us in ways in which they have a sense of ownership in helping us accomplish our mission.

Educating Families – Utilize technology to better meet families’ education needs in the context of our fast-paced and busy culture.

Outreach and Diversity – Become aggressive learners to better understand diversity dynamics in a way that shapes a solid foundation on how we can reach a broader and more diverse group of people impacted by the DSAGC.

Next Frontier – Become leaders in the Down syndrome community when it comes to how to best support and serve families dealing with the challenges associated with independence and aging.
