Giving Tree

Our Giving Tree program is a way to offer support for families who may need a helping hand during the holiday season. This program not only provides tangible support but also fosters a sense of belonging and connection. Together, we can help all families celebrate the holidays with hope and joy.

In 2024, the Giving Tree program supported 80 families including 241 children.

If you are a family in our local Down syndrome community and need assistance this holiday season, please consider registering for the Giving Tree program.

Eligibility Requirements & Information:

  • family must have an individual with Down syndrome living in the home
  • family must reside in the DSAGC's twelve-county service area
  • individuals with Down syndrome of all ages AND all children (ages 18 and under) living in the same home are eligible to receive gifts
  • gifts are provided by sponsors and valued at $50 - $60 per person
  • families have the opportunity to share gift suggestions and clothing sizes. We do not provide electronics or bicycles.

Please note, your information will be kept confidential and only seen by the Giving Tree committee. Your gifts will be available for pick up at the DSAGC Office during the dates below.

Nuestro programa Árbol de la Solidaridad ofrece apoyo a las familias que necesiten ayuda durante las fiestas. Este programa no solo brinda apoyo tangible, sino que también fomenta un sentido de pertenencia y conexión. Juntos, podemos ayudar a todas las familias a celebrar las fiestas con esperanza y alegría.

Si usted es una familia en nuestra comunidad local con síndrome de Down y necesita ayuda en esta temporada navideña, considere registrarse en el programa Giving Tree.

Requisitos de elegibilidad e información:

  • La familia debe tener una persona con síndrome de Down viviendo en el hogar

  • La familia debe residir en el área de servicio de doce condados de DSAGC

  • Las personas con síndrome de Down de todas las edades Y todos los niños (de 18 años o menos) que vivan en el mismo hogar son elegibles para recibir obsequios

  • Los obsequios son proporcionados por patrocinadores y tienen un valor de entre $50 y $60 por persona

  • Las familias pueden compartir sugerencias de regalos y tallas de ropa. No proporcionamos aparatos electrónicos ni bicicletas

Tenga en cuenta que su información se mantendrá confidencial y solo la podrá ver el comité del Árbol de la Solidaridad. Sus regalos podrán recogerse en la oficina de DSAGC en las fechas que se indican a continuación.
